HOW TO PURCHASE
How do I purchase original artwork?
You can purchase original artwork straight from my website by going to the top right-hand menu and selecting Shop/Available Art. If you have seen a painting on my social media, but can't see it in the Available Art shop, please feel free to contact me and inquire about the work, as it may be part of a current exhibition and not yet listed on my website.
How do I order an Art Print?
You can order art prints straight from my online shop. Please note that art prints are exclusively made to order. Navigate to the right-hand menu to view the Art Print categories.
Please make sure you select the RIGHT size for the art print you would like to order from the drop-down menu on the product page before adding it to your cart and placing an order. It's always good to double check before you pay. Nell creative studio fulfills art print orders exactly as ordered and are not responsible if the wrong size was ordered in the first instance by the buyer.
How do I pay for my order?
You pay for your order directly on checkout. Nell Creative Studio uses PayFast, a secure payment gateway.
The following main payment methods are available: Credit/Debit card, Samsung pay, Scan to Pay, and more.
If you would like to pay for your order using EFT, please contact Nell Creative Studio first to arrange this.
Do you offer framing?
Original paintings are sold either with or without framing. Please read the listing information carefully to see if a painting is already framed.
I work with a local artisan framer and can offer to frame a painting for you at additional cost. Please contact me if you would like to add framing to your painting order by using the contact form of replying to your order confirmation email.
All Art Prints are sold UNFRAMED.
SHIPPING
How is orders delivered locally in South Africa?
The following shipping methods is available to local customers:
Door to door courier - Nell Creative Studio uses reliable courier services to safely deliver your artwork (usually Aramex via PostNet's courier service). Please ensure your address and phone number is entered correctly for successful delivery.
PostNet to Postnet - please enter the PostNet address as the 'Shipping address' and your personal address details in the 'Billing address' section. Please list your own phone number as contact.
Free delivery in Stellenbosch - This option is available when the correct postcode is entered. Delivery time will be arranged via email.
Self-pickup in Stellenbosch - Studio will arrange time and pickup location via email.
How does international shipping work?
Nell Creative Studio offers international shipping of original paintings and art prints.
IMPORTANT: Orders are sent out from South Africa, this unfortunately can increase shipping costs to certain locations due to distance and ease of access. If you are unsure about how much it will cost, or have any questions, please contact the Studio.
International orders of 0.5 - 5.4 kg: Shipping is calculated at checkout using competitive rates, usually FedEx and takes about 5-7 to arrive once your order has been marked as completed.
Bulk Orders more than 5.5 kg: If your order weighs more than 5.5 kg automatic shipping will not be available at checkout. CONTACT the Studio so that a custom order can be created with the best tailored shipping rate for your order.
'Shipping not available in your area' Error: This just means your country is not on the list that qualifies for automatic shipping calculations at checkout. In this case, please CONTACT the Studio to arrange for a custom order with the best shipping rates to your location.
Personalized service - For International Buyers of large or framed original artwork requiring specialized packaging
CUSTOM ORDERS: If you would like to buy a large original artwork please CONTACT the Studio to inquire about our shipping and packaging costs for your specific painting.
For large/framed artworks Nell Creative Studio uses a specialist service to securely pack and ship paintings. This can include an extra cost for secure crate packaging, etc. The studio exclusively offers this service to international buyers of original paintings, and will arrange the best possible shipping rates for your artwork by creating a special custom order for you.
*Any artworks weighing more than 5,4 kg will require a custom order, and you will get a shipping error when trying to use the automatic checkout.
RETURNS AND REFUNDS
How do I cancel/change my order?
ORIGINAL ART SALES: All original art sales are FINAL and can not be cancelled. Art is a beautiful investment and buying an original piece should take careful consideration before making the decision to invite the painting into your home. If you have any questions before purchasing an original painting, you are welcome to contact me.
ART PRINT ORDERS: Art print orders can be refunded or changed within the first 24 hours of placing the order. Please contact Nell Creative Studio as soon as possible if you would like to cancel or change your order. You can do this by replying on the order confirmation email from Nell Creative Studio.
What is your Return Policy?
All sales are final and goods cannot be returned after it has left Nell Creative Studio.
Nell Creative Studio takes special care when packaging art and art prints and are not liable for any damage that occurs during transit. The good news: The studio has never had any reports of damaged goods, locally or internationally delivered.
If a wrong art print has been included in your order and the Studio is at fault, please contact the Studio so the correct print can be sent free of charge.
